Diaspora Week Freetown 2026

Building on four years of the Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment Conference, Diaspora Week Freetown 2026 is a nine-day experience connecting diaspora professionals and investors with local CEOs, entrepreneurs, SMEs, policymakers, returnees, first-time visitors and creative leaders. It combines conference sessions and an SME showcase with sports, performance, partner activations, practical investment learning and a trade, agribusiness and eco-tourism tour.

Days 1-2 - December 28-29

Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment Conference: keynotes, panels, SME showcase, networking and the Welcome Cocktail, followed by private-sector linkages and diaspora capital.

Day 3 - December 30

Diaspora Sports Day & Beach Bonfire.

Days 4-5 - December 31-January 1

Partner-led New Year's Eve celebrations, cultural immersion and activations.

Day 6 - January 2

The Song of Njama, performed by Dori Turay.

Day 7 - January 3

Bo Una No Day Sleep: rest, recharge and optional partner events.

Days 8-9 - January 4-5

Diaspora Investment Bootcamp, followed by the Trade, Agribusiness & Eco-Tourism Tour.
